1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for an account, downloading our software, or using our web interface, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.
2. Storage Provider Network
Users who apply and are accepted into the Storage Partner Program ("Providers") agree to the following:
- Availability: Providers must strive to maintain high uptime for their connected storage nodes.
- Data Integrity: Providers must not intentionally tamper with, delete, or inspect the encrypted data chunks stored on their nodes.
- Illegal Content: While data is encrypted, Providers must strictly prohibit the knowing hosting of illegal content and comply with valid takedown requests processed through the central authority.
- Termination: We reserve the right to ban any Provider from the network for malicious behavior, poor performance, or violation of these terms.
3. User Responsibilities
As a user of the platform, you are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and encryption keys.
- Ensuring you have the rights to upload and share the content you store.
- Not using the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, including copyright infringement or distribution of malicious software.
4. Data Privacy & Encryption
MediaUploads employs end-to-end encryption for files. We do not have access to your raw files if you use client-side encryption. You acknowledge that if you lose your encryption keys or password, we cannot recover your data.
5. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. MediaUploads shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits or data.
6. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any significant changes via email or a prominent notice on our website.
